Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ab Initio Developer to join our data engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using Ab Initio, supporting large-scale data integration and transformation initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL pipelines using Ab Initio components such as GDE, Conduct>It, and Express>It.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and ETL workflows.

- Optimize and troubleshoot Ab Initio graphs and workflows to ensure performance and reliability.

- Perform data validation, profiling, and quality checks.

- Work with data analysts, architects, and business users to understand source systems and target data models.

- Support production deployments, monitor jobs, and resolve incidents and issues.

- Maintain documentation for ETL processes and support knowledge transfer.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL development.

- Strong expertise in Graphical Development Environment (GDE) and Conduct>It.

- Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata) and writing complex SQL queries.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL best practices.

- Experience in performance tuning and debugging ETL jobs.

- Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting.

- Good understanding of data quality and data governance principles.
