Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, build and support enterprise banking applications using Java, Spring Boot and microservices architecture. The role will work on business-critical services and integrations, with a strong focus on scalable API design, transaction integrity, security, maintainability and production reliability. Candidates should have solid experience developing Spring Boot services, integrating with databases and external systems, troubleshooting distributed applications and supporting releases in an agile environment. Banking-domain experience is important for understanding regulated workflows and transaction-oriented systems, while prior exposure to digital onboarding journeys will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop Java/Spring Boot services, REST APIs and microservices for banking applications.

- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable and maintainable backend components.

- Integrate services with databases, internal platforms and external systems while handling validations, errors and transaction consistency.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, performance tuning, deployments and production support.

- Collaborate with architecture, QA, security and DevOps teams to maintain engineering and governance standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5 - 10 years of Java application development experience.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices.

- Good knowledge of SQL/databases, application security, logging, debugging and version control.

- Experience working on enterprise applications in the banking domain.

- Strong analytical ability and experience supporting production-grade distributed systems.

Preferred / Added Advantage :

- Exposure to digital onboarding, customer acquisition or account-opening journeys.

- Experience with messaging, containerization, CI/CD or cloud-native engineering practices.
