Equifax is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of technology solutions aligned with business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality, innovative solutions while driving business value through technology. As a Technical Architect, you will ensure the technical success of projects, make critical architectural decisions, and solve complex technical issues.

What You Will Do :

- Lead moderately large or complex projects and ensure the successful rollout of applications aligned with business goals.

- Develop and recommend architectural approaches and document current systems for project clarity.

- Serve as the technical architecture expert for software development and infrastructure teams.

- Assist project teams in estimating architecture design efforts and reviewing/approving architecture designs.

- Advise project teams on applying standards and methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Communicate and validate architectural strategies with Technology and Business executive-level stakeholders.

- Use a deep understanding of technical concepts across multiple fields (systems, storage, networking, security, databases) to resolve critical design issues and provide solutions.

- Lead the planning and implementation of cloud-based solutions in AWS or GCP.

What Experience You Need :

- Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent job experience.

- Experience: 7+ years of experience in public cloud development and administration, with at least 10 years of relevant technical experience.

- Strong experience in monitoring infrastructure and ensuring uptime, availability, and performance.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, Go, Perl, JavaScript, and/or Node.js.

- Experience with microservices architecture, OSS frameworks, and event-driven application development (e.g., Kafka, pub-sub).

- CI/CD tools and practices experience.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

- Cloud Certification (AWS/GCP) is strongly preferred.

- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, focusing on security and compliance requirements.

- Ability to design solutions that do not impact the development or deployment processes.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.

- Ability to strategically think and solve problems creatively, identifying and mitigating risks before they impact projects.

- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, design patterns, and best practices.

- Experience in creating clear architecture documents that can guide teams through the entire SDLC.
