Equifax is searching for a Manager to join the newly created A/NZ Security Enablement & Readiness Team.

As a valued member of the Group Security team, you will manage the A/NZ Security Enablement team that will support the A/NZ Security team in providing advice and guidance on security matters impacting the A/NZ business.

Your team will assist in identifying, prioritising and evaluating risks and controls in an effort to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our security practices.

What you will do :

- Work with the Head of Security Advisory & Risk, A/NZ to set overall strategy and priorities for the team to ensure task completion.

- Identify and resolve problems that affect day-to-day operational success.

- Perform some delivery as and when required including supporting the A/NZ BISO team in identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks by collating required information for assessing security policy exceptions, providing security responses to RFP and security assurance questionnaires for existing and prospective clients and supporting internal and external audits by working with internal stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and evidence.

- Prepare security reports on compliance status and risk posture in order to proactively review the organisations security posture and control compliance coverage.

- Acts as a point of contact and escalation for delivery concerns and/or questions.

- Working with the Head of Security Advisory & Risk A/NZ, be accountable for the overall performance of the team and define and report on metrics to accurately present the teams performance and variance against goals and expectations.

What Experience You Need :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

- 7+ years work experience, preferably in a Security, Technology or related field.

- Strong communication and presentation skills demonstrated by your experience in presenting an communicating at all levels within the organization and senior management.

- Ability to independently influence others in order to achieve objectives.

- Strong ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with stakeholders and always demonstrate good judgment, integrity and actively collaborate and commit to the success of others.

- Knowledge and experience of Information Security Risk and Security governance.

- A solid understanding of security best practices and international standards such as ISO2700 and PCI DSS and NIST.

- Demonstrable experience of driving operational implementation of policies and processes.

- Understanding of cyber risks in the banking/ financial services sector.

- Security-related certification is a strong plus.
