Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer / Lead with 10 - 13 years of experience in cloud and DevOps engineering to lead the design, implementation, automation, and optimization of enterprise-scale Azure environments.

The role requires deep expertise in Azure, CI/CD, AKS/Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and microservices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and implementation of scalable Azure DevOps and cloud infrastructure solutions.

- Define and implement enterprise-grade CI/CD strategies across multiple applications and environments.

- Design automated build, test, deployment, and release pipelines.

- Establish standardized DevOps practices across development, testing, and production environments.

- Lead containerization and orchestration initiatives using Docker and AKS/Kubernetes.

- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ARM Templates.

- Establish reusable infrastructure modules, deployment templates, and automation frameworks.

- Design and implement deployment strategies including Blue-Green, Canary, Rolling, and Zero-Downtime deployments.

- Support large-scale microservices and cloud-native architectures.

- Define monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices across Azure environments.

- Troubleshoot complex issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, application deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Work closely with application architects and development teams to define deployment and infrastructure requirements.

- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency.

- Evaluate and implement new Azure services and DevOps technologies through technical POCs.

- Ensure DevOps implementations follow security, governance, availability, and compliance requirements.

- Contribute to cloud cost optimization and infrastructure efficiency initiatives.

- Establish technical standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices for DevOps engineering.

- Mentor junior and mid-level DevOps engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.

- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.

- Drive continuous improvement across cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and engineering practices.

- Lead resolution of critical production issues and participate in root-cause analysis.

Required Experience :

- 10 - 13 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related areas.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Azure and Azure DevOps.

- Strong experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines at enterprise scale.

- Deep hands-on experience with AKS/Kubernetes and Docker.

- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

- Experience supporting microservices and cloud-native applications.

- Strong troubleshooting experience across infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, and deployment layers.

- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring DevOps engineers.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Azure certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or relevant Azure certifications.

- Experience with Azure Landing Zones and enterprise cloud architecture.

- Experience with DevSecOps and security scanning within CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to tools such as SonarQube, Nexus/Artifactory, Trivy, or equivalent.

- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, or similar observability platforms.

- Experience with Helm and GitOps practices.

- Strong experience in enterprise-scale cloud transformation programs.
