EPAM - Java AWS Developer

Role : Java AWS Developer

Mandatory skills : Java AWS and Elasticsearch

Exp : 5- 8

Location : Hyderabad

Skills and qualification required :

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, building scalable and high-performance systems.

- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework (or similar object-oriented programming languages).

- Proficiency in database management systems (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongDB or similar).

- Experience with Kafka or other streaming platforms

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

- Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Preferred : Hands-on experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch (indexing, querying, aggregations).

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

- Implement RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless integration with frontend and third-party systems.

- Work with AWS cloud services to deploy, manage, and monitor applications.

- Integrate and work with streaming platforms like Apache Kafka for real-time data processing.

- Optimize database queries and work with relational and NoSQL databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.

- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.

- Monitor application health and performance using tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.

- (Preferred) Implement search and analytics functionality using OpenSearch or Elasticsearch (indexing, querying, aggregations)
