Role Overview :

We are looking for an Azure DevOps Lead to provide technical leadership for enterprise cloud and DevOps initiatives. The role will be responsible for defining DevOps strategy, leading cloud engineering teams, establishing automation standards, and driving scalable, secure, and highly reliable Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and drive the Azure DevOps strategy across applications, platforms, and engineering teams.

- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale CI/CD and release management frameworks.

- Establish DevOps standards, engineering practices, governance models, and automation frameworks.

- Provide technical leadership to DevOps and cloud engineering teams.

- Design scalable Azure cloud architectures aligned with business and technology requirements.

- Lead cloud infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or equivalent technologies.

- Design enterprise deployment strategies covering multiple environments and production workloads.

- Establish standards for source control, branching, build automation, release management, and deployment governance.

- Drive containerization and Kubernetes adoption where appropriate, including Azure Kubernetes Service.

- Define cloud security, identity, access management, secrets management, and compliance practices.

- Establish monitoring, observability, logging, alerting, and operational standards for Azure environments.

- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and DevOps transformation programs.

- Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.

- Review architecture and technical designs prepared by DevOps and cloud engineering teams.

- Define disaster recovery, high availability, backup, and business continuity strategies for critical workloads.

- Work closely with enterprise architects, application teams, security teams, and business stakeholders.

- Manage technical risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges across DevOps initiatives.

- Mentor engineers and technical leads and establish engineering capability development plans.

- Evaluate new Azure services and DevOps technologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate.

- Ensure adherence to organizational security, compliance, and governance requirements.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 10 - 12 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, infrastructure, or related technology domains.

- Strong experience leading Azure DevOps and cloud transformation initiatives.

- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and cloud services.

- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and automation.

- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.

- Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity, security, compute, storage, and container platforms.

- Experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service.

- Strong knowledge of cloud security, governance, monitoring, and operational excellence.

- Experience designing highly available and scalable cloud environments.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and technical decision-making skills.

- Experience mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional technical teams.

- Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps engineering practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Microsoft Certified : DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

- Experience leading enterprise-scale cloud migration and modernization programs.

- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.

- Experience with FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and Azure governance.
