Entrata - Engineering Manager - Full Stack Development

The Engineering Manager :

The Engineering Manager is key to the success of Entratas Development department and reports to a Director of Engineering.

This position is primarily responsible for leading a team by leveraging strong technical background, prioritizing business needs, problem-solving, and collaborating cross-functionally.

A successful candidate must be the best and brightest, highly motivated, care about coaching and leading people, innovative and disruptive, a fast worker, and a fierce competitor.

Responsibilities will include :

- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of engineers; identify training & resource needs to continually drive strong performance and build a highly effective team

- Coordinate with the Product team to determine the scope, quality key performance indicators (KPIs), and purpose of a change request

- Define complex projects into actionable items & drive timely delivery of technical solutions to meet Product needs and business objectives

- Collaborate effectively with Product, UX, and Support teams to meet quality KPIs

- Measure team performance KPIs by tracking velocity and system-design review

- Leverage strong organizational and communication skills to support the management of multiple initiatives

- Lead engineering best practices by example and execute strategies, while effectively balancing the speed and quality of solutions

- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming to drive scalability and efficiency

- Inspire a culture of productive innovation with a growth mindset

Minimum Qualifications :

- 10+ years of prior industry experience as a back-end, full-stack, or test engineer in multi-functional settings

- Proven track record of successfully managing collaborative remote and distributed/international teams to deliver high-quality solutions

- Experience with various software development methodologies including Agile

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Passionate about seeing individuals and teams succeed and grow

- Hands-on technical designing, coding, and implementing product features.

- Strong experience in OOPS, Design Patterns, Design Principles ( SOLID ), and System Design.

- Good understanding of front-end technologies (React, NodeJs, JavaScript ).

- Experience in designing and building web environments on AWS, which includes working with services like EC2, ELB, RDS, SQS, Lambda, Docker, CI/CD, K8s, and S3 or any other similar services of other cloud providers
