Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to define and drive enterprise-wide technology strategy, architecture, innovation, and large-scale digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring 12 - 20 years of IT experience with a strong background in enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, AI/ML, data platforms, technology modernization, and architecture governance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute the organization's enterprise architecture strategy and technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.

- Develop and maintain enterprise-wide target architecture, reference architectures, standards, and technology principles.

- Lead large-scale digital transformation, technology modernization, and cloud adoption initiatives.

- Design scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective architectures across AWS and Azure cloud environments.

- Evaluate existing technology landscapes and identify opportunities for modernization, simplification, optimization, and consolidation.

- Provide architectural direction across applications, data, infrastructure, cloud, integration, security, and emerging technologies.

- Drive the adoption of AI/ML, advanced analytics, data platforms, and intelligent technologies within enterprise architecture.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their applicability to business and technology objectives.

- Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Proof of Values (POVs) to validate new technologies, platforms, and architectural approaches.

- Establish and enforce architecture governance, standards, design principles, and review processes.

- Collaborate with engineering, product, data, security, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.

- Influence senior business and technology stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, business-oriented manner.

- Develop technology investment recommendations, architecture options, and build-vs-buy assessments.

- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and distributed systems.

- Identify architectural risks, technical debt, scalability challenges, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects, engineering teams, and technology leaders.

- Stay abreast of emerging trends in cloud, AI/ML, data, distributed computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- 12 - 20 years of experience in Information Technology, with significant experience in architecture and technology leadership.

- Strong experience in Enterprise Architecture and Technology Strategy.

- Proven track record of defining technology roadmaps, target architectures, and enterprise architecture frameworks.

- Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions across AWS and/or Azure.

- Strong understanding of AI/ML, data architecture, advanced analytics, and modern data platforms.

- Experience driving complex digital transformation and technology modernization programs.

- Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, integration patterns, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.

- Experience with architecture governance, technology standards, and design review processes.

- Exposure to Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and modern software engineering practices.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence CXO-level and senior business/technology stakeholders.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
