Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and grow a team of software engineers through mentorship, coaching, and performance management.
- Stay hands-on with development contribute to design discussions, perform code reviews, and handle critical implementations.
- Own the architecture and design of scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
- Establish engineering excellence by defining coding standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to define project goals and timelines.
- Drive agile execution, improving team velocity and delivery predictability.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and architectural inefficiencies.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
Requirements :
- 12+ years of professional experience in software development, with recent hands-on coding in Golang, Python, or Flutter.
- The core experience in building extremely low latency and high throughput transactional systems using low-level foundational languages like C, C++ or C# is a big plus.
- Strong background in system design, architecture, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in microservices, APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps principles.
- Experience in a fast-paced or startup environment, ideally within B2B or fintech domains.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams or managing senior engineers.
- Ability to recruit, mentor, and retain top technical talent.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a bias for action and delivery.
