  • Looking candidates from Product Companies only. Candidates should have a prior experience in product based (B2B/B2C) companies.

Roles & Responsibilities :

You will define engineering practices, product development patterns and drive product development to scale to our requirements.
  • You are the go to person for all technology at company. You get to play a very crucial role in driving some product and technology related decisions.
  • You are responsible for the technology decisions that enable the business plan and will manage an engineering team in an agile environment.
  • You will show high levels of ownership in driving product roadmap, systems and also hiring the best Engineers on the team wherever required.
  • You will be involved in team building, mentoring and ability to attract the best talent to enhance the productivity of all the application engineering teams.
  • You will build & maintain systems for ensuring reliability of the product platforms, and enhance, scale & Ideation and stakeholder management
  • You will maintain the end-user computing experience for all of our group's functions.
  • You will build, own and mentor the team of high-performance engineering team, product owners and engineering managers, provide thought leadership across each of these functions to bring best efficiencies and quality.
  • You can experiment with new and relevant technologies and tools, and drive adoption and create impact.
  • You can come up with ideas to Implement long term technology vision for your team.
  • You will be responsible for providing guidance to engineers and making relevant decisions related to technology solutions.
  • The key to the success of this position is having a strong & innovative approach to problem solving, great technical leadership, excellent communication (written and verbal, formal and informal), flexibility, and a self-motivated working style with attention to detail
What you would possess already :
  • We are looking for more expertise than experience. If we must, then 10+ years of experience upwards is a good measure.
  • We would love you to have some great academics. An Engineering degree combined with a Master's degree is always a plus.
  • You would have substantial experience in building large complex business applications across multiple teams.
  • Strong Object oriented skills, knowledge of design patterns and uncanny ability to design for the domain and build functional platforms
  • Experience leading multi-engineer projects and mentoring senior software engineers / technical leads.
  • Experience with full life cycle development in any programming language on a Linux platform
  • Deep understanding of data-driven web application design and development.
  • Deep understanding of design patterns, optimisations, deployments.
  • Prior experience in working with agile software methodologies (XP, Scrum).
  • You have a keen eye towards testability, quality and reliability
  • If you possess experience building products where the functional requirements have scaled significantly over time, you would love what we plan to build.
  • If you are keen to re-architect products and you would love the idea, some experience around that is also helpful
  • Working in a start-up environment is a good bonus, but you would have worked in a fast paced business environment in your career
