Role Summary :
We are seeking a high-caliber Engineering Manager to lead our technical work units in designing and delivering resilient, high-transaction software solutions.
In this pivotal role, you will act as a "Technical & People Strategist," responsible for translating high-level business plans into tactical action items across On-Premise and Cloud-Based environments.
You will oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) by leveraging DevOps, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies to ensure the delivery of secure, multi-channel applications.
The ideal candidate is a mentor-leader who excels at removing obstacles, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and managing the technical delivery of both in-house teams and offshore vendors.
Responsibilities :
- Tactical Execution & Action Planning: Translate strategic business plans into actionable technical tasks, ensuring all engineering efforts align with organizational goals and compliance procedures.
- High-Volume Solution Delivery: Oversee the design and development of resilient, secure, and high-transaction cloud-based solutions, ensuring they meet the demands of multi-channel enterprise environments.
- Technical Design Leadership: Foster collaboration between architects and consultants to convert functional specifications into flexible, scalable, and maintainable physical program designs.
- Talent Development & Mentorship: Drive a high-performance culture by providing open feedback, coaching, and training opportunities; proactively identify and develop talent for future growth within the IT Engineering family.
- Resource & Incident Management: Ensure appropriate resource allocation for system troubleshooting and incident support, maintaining high application stability and uptime.
- Portfolio & Vendor Oversight: Manage the application portfolio by partnering with Infrastructure, QA, and Architecture teams; provide technical oversight for offshore and service-based vendors.
- Release Management Coordination: Lead technical teams throughout the release schedule to ensure successful software deployments and post-launch stability.
- Process Documentation: Oversee the review and maintenance of technical specifications, interface methods, and architectural procedures to ensure knowledge continuity and compliance.
- Industry Best Practices: Ensure all new and existing software solutions are developed with insight into emerging industry strategies, security architectures, and technological innovations.
Technical Requirements :
- Engineering Leadership: 12+ years of experience in IT Engineering, with at least 5 years in a formal people management or team lead role.
- Architectural Depth: Proven experience in building high-transaction, multi-channel systems on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Methodology Mastery: Deep proficiency in Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Waterfall, and CI/CD automation.
- Vendor Management: Strong experience in managing technical delivery through offshore partners and third-party service providers.
- Full-Stack Awareness: Broad understanding of modern coding standards, infrastructure-as-code, and resilient design patterns.
