Engineering Manager - C/C++

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly experienced Engineering Manager (Telecom Domain) to lead and scale our engineering team in Ahmedabad.

In this role, you will drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced telecom solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability of network systems. You will play a critical leadership role in aligning engineering execution with business strategy while fostering innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own end-to-end delivery of telecom engineering projects including network upgrades, deployments, and optimizations

- Design and oversee scalable, secure, and reliable network architectures

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

- Define and drive engineering best practices across development, testing, and deployment lifecycle

- Monitor network performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities

- Ensure high availability and performance of telecom systems and infrastructure

- Manage vendor relationships, technology partners, and procurement processes

- Drive innovation in telecom technologies including next-gen network solutions

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong experience in leading engineering teams within the telecom domain

- Deep expertise in telecom technologies : 3G, 4G, LTE, 5G, UMTS

- Solid understanding of network architecture, protocols, and telecom infrastructure

- Hands-on experience with C & C++ programming (must-have)

- Experience with dialer systems and telecom integrations

- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex engineering projects

- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills

- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact across technical & business teams

- Experience in vendor management and cost optimization
