Job Description

Responsibilities :


- Hire, build, and lead distributed teams.


- Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader product and customer goals.


- Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams.


- Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders and enable them by providing a scalable and quality product and solutions.


- Lead a product vertical and drive product development and deliveries across teams.


- Work with Business analysts and product managers to explore and establish product requirements and create product roadmaps across modules with teams.


- Work closely with project managers in driving customer-focused product delivery goals.


- Oversees project coordination and team allocations.


- Drive architecture and system design practices, reviews, and validations with architects.


- Lead product technical production support on issues and incidents, and manage incident response practices.


- Drive Scrum process improvements across teams.


- Plan and recommend required capacity, operating procedures, tools, and systems for the teams.


- Drive engineering metrics to improve product and processes.


- Conduct managerial interviews for candidates, and train engineering leads and managers on interviews and hiring.


- Lead KPIs creation and execution, give regular and clear feedback around it, and manage annual performance reviews.


- Conduct 1 : 1 and provide management coaching and mentorship.


- Inculcate a culture of innovation, excellence, and operational efficiency in the team.


- Actively engage with the broader leadership team.


- Grow a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with the company values.


Requirements :


- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related areas.


- 9+ years of total experience.


- Minimum 5+ years of experience in leading teams.


- Demonstrated Software Management skills, including design, agile development, continuous deployment, release planning, and measurements.


- Experience in managing multiple product teams, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget into production.


- Proven track record of strong execution in delivering results and building high-quality SAAS products.


- Experienced with agile software development methodologies.


- Good understanding of architecture and design in building scaled, cloud-native SAAS products on the cloud.


- Development experience with languages like C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, related web frameworks, and Cloud services (Azure, AWS).


- Experienced in driving technical practices like tech-debt reductions, code reviews, test automations, DevOps, etc.


- Ability to understand, communicate, and improve the quality of multiple teams.


- Ability to drive technical excellence, pushing innovation, quality, and operational excellence.


- Ability to drive the decision-making for technical and non-technical problems in a fast-paced environment.


- Ardent desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly.
