We are seeking a highly skilled, very hands on Engineering Manager who is passionate about software product development to lead our design and development efforts for platforms. The ideal candidate will have 8+ Years of experience in software product design, development and deployment, working on cloud environments, good business acumen, innovation mindset and sharp focus. Candidate needs to have a deep understanding of product management, latest app programming tech stack, architecture design, integration methodology, and some mobile app development. The candidate should be able to build and engage a strong team that focuses on development and delivery to.

Key Responsibilities :

- Software Product Design and Development : Lead the design and development of innovative software products using Golang, Java, Python, and NodeJS programming languages. A passion for creating cutting-edge software solutions is essential.

- Team Management : Manage team of development resources, fostering engagement within the team, other technology and business functions. Inspire the team to explore new technologies to solve business problems.

- Architecture Design : Develop and maintain robust app architecture designs, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Drive the architecture governance at an overall technology level for Indus.

- Open Source Tech Stack : be evaluate and work with open source tech stack where applicable.

- Cloud Services Experience : Utilize Cloud offerings where applicable including AWS Cloud services such as EC2, EKS, API Gateway, Lambda, RDS, Iceberg, Redshift, S3, and AWS Cloud Networking. Will also need to have experience with other hyper scale offerings.

- Database & Reporting Technologies : Manage database architecture and optimization, OLAP solutions, Redshift, Grafana, QuickSight, and RDS (MySQL, Postgres), MongoDB, DDB

- Agile Practices and DevOps : Implement Agile practices and DevOps methodologies ensuring efficient and effective development processes.

- Build and manage the DevSecOps setup engaging with our DevOps and Information Security Teams.

- Knowledge of using coding assistants tools is a plus.

- Building and managing AI/ML products is a plus

Qualifications :

- Education : A Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.

- Experience : Should have extensive experience in managing frontend and backend development teams, and in the implementation of highly elastic and scalable high throughput distributed systems.
