As an Engineering Manager, you will serve as the bridge between high-level business strategy and technical execution, leading high-performing engineering teams to build scalable, robust systems. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex software products, ensuring that our technical roadmap aligns with evolving market demands.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, cross-functional stakeholders, and senior leadership to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions. By fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement, you will directly influence our product quality, system reliability, and overall business growth, ensuring we deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of professional growth, technical ownership, and high performance to ensure long-term team retention and productivity.

- Drive the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of features that meet rigorous quality standards.

- Architect scalable and resilient system designs that support rapid business expansion and handle increasing user loads effectively.

- Manage stakeholder expectations by providing transparent communication regarding project timelines, technical risks, and resource allocation.

- Implement and optimize Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows and reduce time-to-market for new features.

- Oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring that technical debt is managed proactively and that the production environment remains stable and secure.

- Champion change management initiatives to adapt team processes to new technologies or shifting business priorities without disrupting ongoing delivery.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in Engineering Management with 5 to 10 years of experience in building and scaling complex software products within fast-paced environments.

- Proven ability to define and execute technical strategy, ensuring that architectural decisions align with long-term business objectives and cloud-native best practices.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, negotiate priorities, and influence cross-functional teams effectively.

- Strong proficiency in managing delivery across the entire SDLC, utilizing Agile frameworks to maintain velocity while upholding high standards of code quality.

- Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms and modern CI/CD tools, with a focus on automating infrastructure and deployment processes.

- A track record of mentoring junior and senior engineers, providing technical guidance, and conducting performance reviews to build a cohesive, high-output team.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a premier institute, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering principles.

- High adaptability to a hybrid work environment, with the ability to lead distributed teams while maintaining clear communication and operational efficiency.
