About the Role :

Were hiring an experienced Engineering Manager to lead high-performing teams in building scalable and reliable software systems. This is a player-coach role, balancing hands-on technical contribution with leadership and delivery responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Drive design, architecture, and development of scalable solutions.

- Provide hands-on technical mentorship and conduct code reviews.

- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.

- Collaborate with product and tech teams to deliver robust solutions.

Project Delivery :

- Plan and deliver projects within scope and timelines.

- Identify and resolve technical/process bottlenecks.

- Track engineering KPIs and promote a learning culture.

Team Management :

- Mentor and coach engineers for career growth.

- Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management.

- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture.

Requirements :

- 10+ years in software development (8+ years hands-on).

- 2+ years in engineering leadership or management.

- Proven experience mentoring engineers or leading initiatives.

- Bachelors in Computer Science/Engineering (Masters or MBA preferred).

Technical Skills :

- Backend : Node.js, Python, Go, or Java.

- Frontend : React, Angular, or Vue.js.

- Strong in microservices, distributed systems, and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.

Leadership & Soft Skills :

- Strong leadership and decision-making ability.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Comfortable working in agile, fast-paced environments.

Note :

This role requires strong technical expertise. The Engineering Manager is expected to contribute to the codebase while leading the team - maintaining a balance between delivery and people management.
