Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Senior Technical Manager to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of progressive industry experience, including at least 7 years in a technical management role. This position requires a rare blend of deep technical knowledge, a strong architectural background, and a passion for building, mentoring, and retaining world-class engineering teams. You will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of highly scalable and performant software, while fostering an agile and fast-paced development environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical & Architectural Leadership :

- Lead the design and architecture of highly scalable server systems, leveraging a strong background in Java/Node.js.

- Drive the technical vision and ensure the team is building world-class software that meets high standards of performance and reliability.

- Utilize a deep understanding of both RDBMS and NoSQL systems to architect efficient data solutions.

Team & People Management :

- Build, mentor, and lead high-performance engineering teams, with a focus on hiring and retaining top talent.

- Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Manage and support the professional growth of team members, providing guidance and technical mentorship.

Project Execution & Process :

- Implement and manage agile development processes, including planning and delivering on short, bi-weekly release cycles.

- Ensure the team leverages open-source tools and platforms effectively to accelerate development and innovation.

- Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core Experience :

- 10+ years of progressive experience in the software industry, with a B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in a technical management role.

- Proven background as a hands-on developer and architect of scalable server systems.

Technical Proficiency :

- Strong experience in building highly scalable systems using Java/Node.js.

- Expertise with RDBMS and NoSQL systems.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- A proactive and problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with AWS cloud services.
