Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute the long-term engineering strategy and roadmap for Security Products in India, aligned with global business and security objectives.

- Lead and scale multiple engineering teams across threat detection, identity management, data protection, and security infrastructure.

- Partner with senior Product, Security, and business leaders to drive technical strategy, execution, and delivery.

- Build a high-performing engineering organization through effective hiring, talent development, succession planning, and organizational design.

- Drive engineering excellence through strong architecture, operational rigor, incident management, and platform reliability.

- Champion security-first practices, technical debt reduction, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.

- Ensure successful delivery of multiple strategic programs while managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.

- Represent the India engineering organization in global leadership forums and serve as the escalation point for critical engineering decisions.

Qualifications :

- 15+ years of software engineering experience, including 6+ years in senior engineering leadership roles managing managers and large teams.

- Proven experience building and scaling engineering organizations (50+ engineers) delivering cloud-scale security products or distributed systems.

- Strong expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, Kafka, Flink, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Technical proficiency in Go and JavaScript/Node.js with the ability to lead architecture and design reviews.

- Deep knowledge of security technologies, cryptography, identity management, and modern application security practices.

- Experience operating high-scale systems processing millions of events per second.

- Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership skills in global organizations.
