What Youll Be Doing :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of autonomous AI agents capable of multi-step reasoning and planning.

- Architect scalable memory and retrieval systems using vector databases and embeddings to provide long-term context.

- Build and optimize agent orchestration workflows using techniques like ReAct, Chain-of-Thought, and LangGraph.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with research, product, and engineering teams to define AI agent capabilities and roadmaps.

- Drive prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and continual performance improvements of AI agents.

- Ensure AI safety by implementing monitoring, observability, and risk mitigation strategies.

- Mentor and support junior engineers, reviewing code and sharing best practices.

- Oversee cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalable,

reliable deployments.

Required Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

- 8+ years of professional experience developing full-stack applications.

- Proficient in coding (Java or Python).

- Sound fundamentals in DS/Algorithms.

- Strong proficiency in design - HLD and LLD with knowledge of design patterns.

- Familiarity to building AI applications

- Have used or built frameworks for Agentic AI.

- Proven ability to self-drive and take ownership of technical initiatives.

Coding :

- Problem solving and Coding in one of Python or Java

- Complexity analysis of the code and the ability to optimise.

- Ability to take hints to come up with alternate solutions

- Knowledge and application of the right Data Structures

- Modularity and readability of the code and ensuring it is working code.

- Handling of corner cases and edge cases.

Tech Design :

- Disambiguate the problem (preferably around designing AI based or agentic applications / framework)

- High level architecture / system design with ability to choose right constructs

- Low level design - check for design patterns and API design.

- Data modelling and choices of data store constructs with rationale

- Focus on operational efficiency in design in terms of performance, cost and ability to scale.

Soft Skills & Traits :
