About the Role :


We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Leader Firmware Test to oversee the planning, development, and execution of test strategies for embedded products and firmware-driven systems. In this role, you will lead a team of test engineers, define testing frameworks, ensure product reliability, and collaborate closely with firmware development, hardware engineering, and product teams to deliver high-quality, robust, and secure embedded solutions. This position is ideal for someone who has strong technical expertise in embedded systems testing, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for quality engineering in complex hardwaresoftware environments.


Key Responsibilities :


- Lead the Firmware Test team, providing technical direction, mentorship, and performance guidance.


- Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test coverage for embedded firmware products.


- Develop automated and manual test frameworks for firmware validation, endurance testing, and performance testing.


- Collaborate with firmware developers, hardware engineers, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure testability.


- Set up and manage test labs including hardware setups, tools, test harnesses, and equipment.


- Analyze system logs, debug firmware-related issues, and support root-cause analysis.


- Ensure test processes are aligned with industry best practices, including regression testing, continuous integration, and release quality gates.


- Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve test automation and efficiency.


- Prepare test documentation, test reports, and contribute to certification or compliance activities.


- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate product quality, reduce defects, and enhance engineering productivity.


Required Skills :


- Strong experience in firmware/embedded testing for microcontrollers, embedded platforms, or IoT devices.


- Expertise in C/C++, embedded debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.


- Experience with test automation frameworks for embedded systems.


- Strong understanding of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, BLE, Wi-Fi, etc.).


- Proven leadership experience in managing test teams or projects.


- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
