Emergy - Senior SAP Architect

We are seeking a Senior SAP Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade SAP solutions across business domains.

This role demands a deep understanding of SAP technologies (on-prem and cloud), the ability to architect integrated business processes, and leadership in guiding large-scale digital transformation programs.

The ideal candidate will partner with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical experts to define scalable, high-performing, and future-ready SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership & Architecture :

- Define end-to-end SAP architecture strategy aligned with enterprise IT roadmap.

- Lead SAP transformation programs (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA, Cloud Migrations).

- Serve as the primary SAP technology advisor to business and IT leaders.

- Design and validate scalable, secure, and performance-optimized SAP architectures.

Solution Design & Integration :

- Architect SAP solutions across key modules such as :

1. SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC

2. SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)

3. SAP Ariba, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Concur

4. SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP PI/PO/CPI

- Design system integrations with non-SAP platforms (Salesforce, Oracle, Workday, Azure, etc.)

- Define integration architecture using middleware like SAP CPI, PI/PO, or 3rd party APIs.

Governance & Delivery Oversight :

- Develop and enforce architectural principles, standards, and best practices.

- Review and approve SAP solution designs, custom developments, and integrations.

- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and performance requirements.

- Support project planning, estimation, and quality assurance activities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Mentoring :

- Work closely with enterprise architects, functional leads, business process owners, and developers.

- Guide and mentor SAP functional and technical teams across projects.

- Conduct architecture reviews, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and technical deep dives.

- Stay abreast of emerging SAP technologies and guide innovation initiatives.

Required Technical Skills :

SAP Platform Expertise :

- Deep experience in SAP S/4HANA architecture, migrations, and greenfield/brownfield implementations.

- Strong understanding of :

1. SAP Basis/HANA administration

2. SAP Fiori/UI5, OData Services

3. ABAP & ABAP RESTful programming (RAP)

4. SAP BTP (CAP, Event Mesh, Workflow, Integration Suite)

- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Activate Methodology

Integration & DevOps :

- Expertise in SAP CPI/PI/PO for cloud and on-premise integrations.

- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices in SAP environment : CTS+, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.

- Understanding of SAP security, GRC, and role-based access controls.

Preferred Certifications :

- SAP Certified Technology Associate (S/4HANA, Integration, BTP)

- SAP Certified Solution Architect highly desirable

- TOGAF or other architecture frameworks preferred

- ITIL Foundation added advantage
