Emergy - SAP Solution Architect PPDS Module

Description :

The SAP Solution Architect PPDS will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Advanced Planning and Scheduling (PPDS) solutions across manufacturing and supply chain operations.

This role requires deep functional and technical expertise in SAP PPDS, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience in architecting solutions that integrate with S/4HANA and other SAP modules.

The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on experience, ensuring scalable, efficient, and business-aligned SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Architecture :

- Develop functional and technical architectures integrating PPDS with SAP S/4HANA, APO, IBP, MES, and other relevant modules.

- Ensure the solution architecture meets scalability, performance, and compliance requirements.

Implementation & Configuration :

- Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Configure SAP PPDS, including Master Data, Heuristics, SNP, and detailed scheduling functionalities.

- Guide and review development, testing, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality delivery.

Integration & Optimization :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP, QM, WM) to ensure seamless integration.

- Identify process gaps and recommend enhancements to improve planning efficiency and supply chain performance.

- Monitor and optimize PPDS planning runs, algorithms, and heuristics for optimal results.

Leadership & Advisory :

- Mentor and provide guidance to SAP functional and technical teams.

- Act as a key advisor to stakeholders on best practices, new SAP capabilities, and emerging technologies.

- Support project management in solution planning, risk mitigation, and delivery tracking.

Key Skills & Competencies :

- Strong expertise in SAP PPDS / Advanced Planning and Scheduling with hands-on configuration and implementation experience.

- Experience with S/4HANA PP, APO, IBP, MES, or other SAP supply chain solutions.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.

- Proven experience in solution architecture, system integration, and process optimization.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience with SAP project lifecycle : requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

- Knowledge of supply chain planning, production planning, and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.

- 8 to 12 years of SAP experience with at least 35 years in PPDS/advanced planning architecture.

- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end SAP PPDS solutions in complex manufacturing or supply chain environments.

- SAP certification in PPDS, APO, or S/4HANA is a plus
