Role Overview :

As a DevOps Engineer at Embitel, you will be the backbone of our software delivery pipeline, ensuring seamless integration and deployment for high-stakes engineering projects.

You will work closely with cross-functional development and QA teams to architect, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD environments.

Your daily efforts will directly impact the reliability, security, and speed of our product releases, ensuring that our technical infrastructure remains scalable and resilient in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment workflows for complex software projects.

- Configure and optimize build systems using Cmake and Conan to ensure consistent and efficient dependency management across multiple environments.

- Integrate and maintain security scanning tools including Coverity, Sonarqube, Black Duck, and Trivy to proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within the codebase.

- Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based environments to ensure high availability and performance for development and production systems.

- Develop custom automation scripts using Python to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance the overall efficiency of the DevOps ecosystem.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement best practices in infrastructure-as-code and continuous improvement, driving higher standards of software quality.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing end-to-end CI/CD lifecycles with a strong command over GitHub Actions and modern automation workflows.

- Proven ability to handle complex build configurations using Cmake and Conan, particularly in environments requiring strict version control and dependency management.

- Deep understanding of security-first development practices, with hands-on experience in integrating Coverity, Sonarqube, Black Duck, and Trivy into automated pipelines.

- Strong proficiency in Linux system administration and the ability to write clean, maintainable Python scripts for system automation and tool integration.

- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions to diverse stakeholders in a collaborative, office-based environment in Bangalore.

- Candidates must possess 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
