EMBARK - Consultant/Software Engineer - Sitecore/.Net

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, customize, and maintain applications using C# and .NET.

- Develop and maintain Sitecore XP/XM components, templates, renderings, layouts, and content structures.

- Build reusable and scalable Sitecore solutions based on business requirements.

- Develop integrations using REST APIs, Web APIs, and Sitecore APIs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Sitecore, .NET, integration, and production issues.

- Work with SQL Server and perform database-related development and troubleshooting.

- Implement Sitecore customizations, pipelines, workflows, and configuration changes.

- Collaborate with architects, frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.

- Support deployments, releases, performance optimization, and production maintenance.

- Contribute to headless Sitecore implementations where required.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET / ASP.NET.

- Proven experience in Sitecore development.

- Good understanding of Sitecore XP/XM architecture and development concepts.

- Experience with Sitecore templates, items, renderings, layouts, workflows, and APIs.

- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core.

- Experience developing RESTful APIs / Web APIs.

- Good knowledge of SQL Server.

- Experience with Git and source-control practices.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Sitecore Headless / JSS / XM Cloud.

- Exposure to Next.js, React, or other modern frontend frameworks.

- Experience with Azure cloud services.

- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

- Sitecore certification is an added advantage; Sitecore currently offers a Sitecore 10 .NET Developer certification covering areas such as platform structure, templates/data management, renderings, APIs, security, and content serialization.
