Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled ELK Developer to join our engineering team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust logging and monitoring solutions that provide critical visibility into our infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with DevOps engineers, cloud architects, and product stakeholders to ensure our systems are performant, secure, and scalable. By transforming raw data into actionable insights, you will directly influence our operational efficiency and help maintain the high availability of services that our global customers rely on every day.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and deploy scalable ELK Stack clusters to centralize logs and metrics, ensuring seamless observability across our production environments.

- Optimize Logstash pipelines and ElasticSearch indexing strategies to improve data ingestion speed and query performance for internal engineering teams.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform to maintain consistent, repeatable, and version-controlled environments on AWS.

- Manage IAM policies and security configurations to ensure that log data is accessed securely and complies with organizational data governance standards.

- Troubleshoot complex system issues within Linux-based environments to minimize downtime and enhance the overall reliability of our service delivery.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing the full ELK Stack lifecycle, including cluster tuning, index lifecycle management, and complex query optimization.

- Proven ability to manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing Terraform for Infrastructure as Code to streamline deployment workflows.

- Strong proficiency in Linux system administration, with the capability to perform deep-dive troubleshooting and performance tuning.

- Solid understanding of IAM and security best practices to protect sensitive log data within a cloud-native architecture.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical monitoring data into clear reports for non-technical stakeholders.

- A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively in a hybrid office environment in Chennai while coordinating with cross-functional global teams.

- Candidates must possess 3 - 6 years of relevant professional experience in log management and infrastructure engineering.
