Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced ELK Developer with deep expertise in the Elastic Stack to design, implement, optimize, and maintain enterprise-scale logging, monitoring, and analytics solutions.
The role involves working on complex distributed environments, integrating ELK with enterprise systems, and supporting large-scale data ingestion, search, and visualization use cases across global projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, build, deploy, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade ELK Stack platforms (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Filebeat, Ingest Pipelines).
- Install, configure, and manage Elasticsearch clusters in production environments with high availability and scalability.
- Develop and manage Elasticsearch indices, mappings, templates, and lifecycle management policies (ILM).
- Create advanced Kibana dashboards, visualizations, and reports for monitoring, analytics, and business insights.
- Configure and optimize Logstash pipelines for data ingestion, parsing, filtering, enrichment, and transformation.
- Work extensively with Beats (Filebeat, Metricbeat, etc.) for log and metric collection.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to data ingestion, indexing, search performance, and visualization.
- Perform capacity planning and sizing for Elasticsearch clusters to support high-volume data workloads.
- Apply fine-tuning techniques for bulk indexing, query optimization, and cluster performance.
- Enhance open-source ELK capabilities to support custom business or operational requirements.
- Integrate ELK with enterprise tools, platforms, and APIs (i.e., authentication, authorization, monitoring, alerting systems).
- Implement and manage security features, including role-based access control, authentication, and authorization plugins.
- Monitor ELK stack health and performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
- Follow and implement best practices for ELK deployment, configuration, backup, and maintenance.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes related to ELK stack deployments.
- Document architectures, configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay current with new Elastic Stack releases and features; recommend improvements and enhancements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on ELK stack best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 7-10 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on expertise in Elastic Stack.
