About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior iOS Developer with a strong focus on accessibility to join our team on a 5-month contract.

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our iOS applications are accessible, inclusive, and compliant with WCAG 2.0+ standards.

Youll work hands-on with accessibility tools and technologies such as VoiceOver, and leverage both UIKit and SwiftUI accessibility APIs to enhance user experience for all users.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement accessibility features aligned with WCAG 2.0+ guidelines throughout the software lifecycle.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver features, fix bugs, and improve overall accessibility.

- Attend regular status meetings to report progress, blockers, and raise accessibility-related concerns.

- Provide mentorship and support to other developers in implementing accessibility features and best practices.

- Offer strategic guidance and technical support on inclusive design and mobile accessibility standards.

Must-Have Qualifications :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with iOS VoiceOver and accessibility APIs in UIKit and SwiftUI.

- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0+) and assistive technologies.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in remote/hybrid teams.

- Self-starter with a proven ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications :

- 5+ years of iOS development experience using SwiftUI, ViewModels, and MVVM architecture.

- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a focus on accessibility.

- Proficiency with git version control systems, including branching and merging workflows.

- 2+ years of experience with video/audio playback and FairPlay DRM.

- Experience integrating and working with REST APIs and GraphQL services.

- Prior experience in mentorship or technical leadership is a plus.
