Egen - Node.js Developer - Express.js/Javascript

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development expertise, hands-on experience in building scalable applications, and a deep understanding of modern frameworks and best practices. Candidates must be able to adapt quickly, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and contribute to delivering high-quality products.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Node.js applications.

- Write clean, scalable, and optimized code while following best coding practices.

- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.

- Work closely with frontend developers, architects, and QA teams to deliver seamless solutions.

- Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security.

- Troubleshoot and debug production issues to ensure reliability and performance.

- Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.

- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development environment, participating in sprint planning and code reviews.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend development using Node.js.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming concepts.

- Experience with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS, or Hapi.js.

- Hands-on experience in RESTful API design .

- Good knowledge of databases SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in backend development.
