Position Overview :

Join EDMO as a Solutions Architect to design and implement large-scale AI-powered educational technology systems that serve thousands of students and admissions professionals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design end-to-end system architectures for AI-powered admissions and student services platforms

- Lead technical discussions with university stakeholders and translate business requirements into scalable solutions

- Architect integrations between AI systems, CRMs, student information systems, and document management platforms

- Define technical standards, patterns, and best practices for the engineering team

- Conduct system performance analysis and optimization

- Lead proof-of-concept development for new AI capabilities

- Mentor development teams and drive architectural decision-making

- Ensure security, scalability, and compliance across all technical solutions

Required Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience in system design and architecture

- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP preferred) and microservices architecture

- Expertise in designing REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems

- Experience with AI/ML system integration and deployment

- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java preferred)

- Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and performance optimization

- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines

- Knowledge of security frameworks, authentication, and authorization patterns

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in EdTech, CRM, or document processing domains

- Knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture and integration patterns

- Understanding of compliance requirements (FERPA, SOC 2, GDPR)

- Experience with LLM integration and vector databases

- Certification in cloud architecture (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)

- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
