Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Core Java) with strong backend development expertise and solid exposure to web technologies and relational databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable web-based applications using Java and related technologies. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on coding experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Core Java and J2EE technologies.

- Develop and integrate web applications using JavaScript and related libraries/frameworks.

- Work with relational databases to design schemas, write complex SQL queries, and optimize database performance.

- Participate in application build, deployment, and version control using tools such as Git and Docker.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Analyze business and technical requirements and produce appropriate technical designs and solutions.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and quality control to ensure application reliability.

- Deploy applications on application servers such as JBoss, Apache, and Tomcat, and support deployment procedures.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and production defects.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical enhancements.

Required Technical Skills :

Backend & Programming :

- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java

- Proficiency in SQL, Java, and JavaScript

- Solid understanding of J2EE architecture

Web & Frontend Technologies :

- Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as jQuery, Node.js

- Exposure to frontend technologies including ReactJS, AngularJS, RequireJS, and Bootstrap

Database Technologies :

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL, and SQL Workbench

- Strong understanding of relational database design and data modeling

Build, Deploy & Tools :

- Experience with Git for version control

- Knowledge of Docker for containerization and deployment

Reporting & Other Tools :

- Experience with JasperReports for reporting is a plus

Preferred Experience :

- Prior experience working with Workflow, Case Management, Business Process Management (BPM), or Data Transaction solutions

- Experience in testing and quality assurance practices
