Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain DNS infrastructure, including authoritative and recursive DNS servers, for optimal performance and reliability.

- Configure and manage Infoblox appliances for efficient DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (DDI).

- Monitor DNS server performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.

- Implement and maintain DNS security measures, such as DNSSEC, to protect against DNS spoofing and other attacks.

- Troubleshoot complex DNS-related issues, utilizing packet capture and analysis tools to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

- Collaborate with network and security teams to integrate DNS security with other security controls, such as WAFs and intrusion detection systems.

- Develop and maintain documentation of DNS infrastructure, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.

- Provide technical guidance and support to other IT teams on DNS-related matters, ensuring consistent and effective DNS management practices.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest DNS technologies and security threats, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance DNS infrastructure and security.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage DNS infrastructure in complex network environments.

- Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.

- Proven expertise in configuring and managing Infobox appliances.

- Experience with implementing and managing Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).

- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze network traffic and identify root causes of DNS-related issues.

- Strong understanding of DNS security principles and best practices, including DNSSEC.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
