Job Description

Role Summary :


We are looking for a Data Analytics Manager - HR Analytics to lead the development of people analytics and workforce insights across the organization. This role will partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders to provide data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working with HR data, and the ability to translate complex information into meaningful business recommendations.


Key Responsibilities :


HR Analytics & Reporting :


Develop and maintain dashboards and reports covering key workforce metrics, including :


- Headcount


- Attrition


- Hiring and recruitment performance


- Diversity metrics


- Employee engagement


- Internal mobility


- Workforce costs


Analyze workforce trends and provide insights to support business and HR decision-making. Produce regular and ad hoc reports for leadership teams.


Workforce Planning & Insights :


- Support workforce planning, budgeting, and organizational reviews through data analysis.


- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to talent acquisition, retention, and workforce effectiveness. Provide actionable recommendations to improve organizational performance and employee outcomes.


Data Management & Governance :


- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR data across systems. Partner with HRIS, Technology, and Finance teams to improve data quality and reporting processes.


- Maintain data governance standards and ensure confidentiality of employee information.


Dashboarding & Automation :


- Build and enhance self-service dashboards and reporting solutions.


- Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.


- Leverage analytics tools and emerging technologies to strengthen reporting capabilities.


Stakeholder Management :


- Partner with HR leaders, Talent Acquisition teams, Finance, and business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.


- Present findings and insights in a clear and meaningful way to support decision-making.


Qualifications & Experience :


- Bachelors degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.


- 5-8 years of experience in HR Analytics, People Analytics, Workforce Planning, Business Intelligence, or a related analytics role.


- Experience working with large and complex datasets.


- Experience in a global organization is preferred.


Technical Skills :


- Strong proficiency in :


i. Power BI or Tableau


ii. Advanced Excel


iii. SQL


- Experience working with HR systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar platforms.


- Knowledge of workforce analytics and reporting methodologies.


- Experience with Python, AI-enabled analytics tools, or predictive analytics is an advantage.

Reporting Structure :


Reports To : Global Head of HR / Head of People Analytics.


Location : Mumbai.
