Digital Asset Management Engineer - Python

Job Summary :

We are looking for a DAM Engineer responsible for developing, supporting, and optimizing Digital Asset Management workflows and integrations.

The role involves backend development, automation, and cloud-based operations to ensure efficient asset ingestion, transformation, distribution, and governance across enterprise marketing ecosystems.

Primary Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Digital Asset Management systems (e.g., AEM Assets or equivalent)

- Strong understanding of :

o Asset ingestion, metadata modeling & versioning

o Asset workflows, transformation & delivery pipelines

- Backend development using Python, C#, .NET, PHP (Laravel), Node.js, or R

- Experience with REST API development and integrations

- Cloud experience, preferably AWS S3 for asset storage and automation

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery

- Proficiency with Git / Bitbucket for version control and deployments

- Shell scripting and automation in Linux/Unix or macOS

- Agile/Scrum delivery experience

- Basic database query skills

Secondary Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Experience in creative marketing DevOps or digital content production environments

- Familiarity with metadata governance, tagging automation, and asset rights management

- Frontend development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS 1.x)

- Experience managing or supporting marketing campaigns and offers

- Ability to propose technology improvements aligned with business goals
