Job Title : Digital & Commercial Technology Lead Offshore Technical Resource Management.

Location : Hyderabad, India (Onsite 4 days/week).

Working Hours : Aligned with US Eastern Time.

About the Role : We are seeking a seasoned Digital & Commercial Technology Lead to manage our offshore technical team in Hyderabad.

This role is critical in delivering scalable, high-impact digital and commercial technology solutions, with a core focus on Shopify and related ecosystems.

The successful candidate will have deep expertise in Shopify, combined with strong leadership and IT delivery experience across Sales, Marketing, Brand, Digital, and First-Party (1P) Data functions.

Youll work closely with global stakeholders to drive project execution, operational excellence, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Team Leadership : Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing offshore team, driving accountability and continuous improvement.

- Project Execution : Manage end-to-end technical project delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines, scope, and budget.

- Provide clear weekly status updates to onshore counterparts.

- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with global business and technology stakeholders to align offshore execution with strategic priorities.

- Resource Management : Allocate and optimize technical resources efficiently across multiple workstreams and maintain a clear ownership structure.

- Operational Excellence : Oversee quality assurance, risk management, and production support and ensure reliable delivery processes.

- Communication : Maintain transparent and timely communication with distributed teams regarding progress, blockers, and priorities.

- Issue Resolution : Proactively identify and resolve operational or technical challenges to maintain delivery momentum.

- Stakeholder Engagement : Foster strong working relationships with global stakeholders through consistent engagement and performance delivery.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters preferred).

Experience :

- 10+ years of IT experience, with a strong focus on Digital and DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) technologies.

- Minimum 5 years of experience managing offshore technical teams.

- Hands-on experience with Shopify is mandatory.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Shopify platform development and integration (a must-have).

- Familiarity with Shopify APIs, Liquid templates, and custom app development.

- Exposure to AI, Gaming, and experience with Ruby is a plus.

Leadership :

- Proven ability to lead diverse, distributed, and high-performing teams.

- Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Global Collaboration :

- Experience working across time zones in complex, matrixed environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in ITIL, Agile, or DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with SOX compliance, enterprise IT governance, and operations.

- Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Anaplan, or other MarTech tools.
