DigiHelic Solutions - Network Security Process Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Network Security Process Engineer to join our team in Pune. Responsibilities :

- Process Analysis and Design : Analyze existing network security processes (e.g., firewall rule changes, VPN access requests, proxy management) to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

- Documentation and Standardization : Design, document, and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and process flowcharts using notations like BPMN, flowcharts, and swimlanes.

- Operational Improvement : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security engineers, IT operations, and business stakeholders, to implement process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve service delivery.

- Metrics and Reporting : Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor process effectiveness and provide regular reports on process performance, identified issues, and implemented improvements.

- Service Management : Apply knowledge of IT service management principles, particularly ITIL processes such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management, to ensure our security operations are structured and reliable.

- Collaboration : Work with global teams to align on best practices and ensure consistent application of processes across the organization.

Required Expertise :

- Experience : 1-3 years of experience in process engineering, IT service management, or a related operational improvement role.

- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical thinking with a structured approach to problem-solving and an excellent eye for detail.

- Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with IT and network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, proxies, Network Access Control (NAC), and endpoint security.

- Process Documentation : Proficiency in documenting and visualizing processes using standard notations (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts).

- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.

- Mindset : A proactive and adaptable mindset with enthusiasm for process optimization and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications (a plus) :

- Knowledge of IT Security Standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST CSF.

- Certifications in process frameworks like ITIL, Lean, or Six Sigma.

- International working experience.
