Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support enterprise DevSecOps platforms including GitLab (SaaS and on-prem), JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) across production, non-production, and disaster recovery environments.
- Execute GitOps-based lifecycle management: declarative configuration, automated deployment via GitLab CI/CD, version-controlled environments, rollback, and drift detection.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipeline templates, shared runners, and automation frameworks that support enterprise-wide onboarding and standardization.
- Monitor platform health, availability, and performance using Dynatrace, Splunk, and OpenTelemetry; respond to incidents within SLA and participate in root-cause analysis.
- Implement and maintain compliance-as-code controls: automated enforcement of security, audit, and regulatory policies using OPA/Gatekeeper integrated with GitLab pipelines.
- Support secrets and configuration management using HashiCorp Vault integrated with GitOps workflows.
- Manage platform patching, upgrades, certificate rotations, and vulnerability remediation on defined schedules.
- Maintain and improve runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge base articles for all supported platforms.
- Fulfill ServiceNow catalog requests (SCTASKs) for tooling provisioning, access management, repository creation, and configuration changes within SLA targets.
- Participate in structured knowledge transfer from incumbent resources, including reverse shadowing, documentation validation, and production support readiness exercises.
- Collaborate with US-based Platform Engineers and Front-line support staff to provide IST business-hours coverage as part of the 24/7/365 global support model.
- Support Change the Bank initiatives including Project Axiom, Agentic SDLC, GitLab SaaS migration, and custom AI integrations as capacity allows.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 - 5+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise DevOps/DevSecOps tooling platforms (GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, or equivalent).
- Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, shared runners, pipeline templates, and GitOps deployment patterns (Kustomize/Helm).
- Proficiency with Linux system administration and container platforms (Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Ansible, Terraform) and configuration management at enterprise scale.
- Working knowledge of secrets management (HashiCorp Vault) and certificate lifecycle management (Venafi or equivalent).
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, OpenTelemetry).
- Experience with ITSM processes and ServiceNow for incident, change, and request management.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent) for automation and tooling integration.
- Understanding of enterprise security controls, vulnerability remediation, and compliance frameworks (NIST, SOX).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with JFrog Artifactory administration (repository management, replication, cleanup policies, Xray scanning).
- GitLab administration experience (instance management, SAML/SSO, audit logging, runner fleet management).
- Ansible Automation Platform (AAP/Tower) administration and playbook development.
- Experience with policy-as-code frameworks (OPA, Gatekeeper, Sentinel).
- Familiarity with financial services regulatory requirements (SOX, OCC, FFIEC).
- Experience participating in GCC transitions, knowledge transfer programs, or vendor-to-internal staffing migrations.
- Certifications: GitLab Certified Associate, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), or equivalent.
