Role Overview :

As a DevSecOps Engineer based in Hyderabad, you will serve as a critical bridge between development, security, and operations teams to ensure the seamless delivery of secure, high-performance applications. You will be responsible for architecting and maintaining automated pipelines that integrate security checkpoints directly into the software development lifecycle. Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you will drive the adoption of infrastructure-as-code practices and ensure that our containerized environments remain resilient, compliant, and optimized for scale. Your work directly impacts the security posture and deployment velocity of our enterprise-grade platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment, testing, and security scanning processes for faster release cycles.

- Manage and scale container orchestration platforms using Kubernetes and Rancher to ensure high availability and efficient resource utilization.

- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform to maintain consistent, repeatable, and version-controlled environments.

- Integrate security tools such as SonarQube, Veracode, and Wiz into the development workflow to proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities.

- Collaborate with development teams to resolve build failures and security bottlenecks, ensuring a smooth transition from code commit to production.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation and tracking of development tasks and security incidents using Jira and Bit Bucket to ensure transparency and accountability.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines with a deep understanding of DevSecOps principles and security-first development.

- Proven ability to manage complex Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads within a production environment using Rancher.

- Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code practices, specifically using Terraform to automate and manage cloud-native environments.

- Hands-on experience integrating automated security testing tools like SonarQube, Veracode, and Wiz to enforce compliance and code quality standards.

- Advanced knowledge of Git-based version control workflows using Bit Bucket to manage large-scale codebases.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical security requirements to non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards for system security and operational stability.

- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of professional experience in DevOps or DevSecOps engineering roles.
