Job description :

Overview: The Platform/DevOps Engineer ensures that Learning applications and infrastructure are reliable, secure, and cost-efficient.

This role involves designing and managing AWS-based environments, automating deployments, and improving system performance.

Responsibilities :

- Design and manage AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail).

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.

- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

- Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, cost, and security.

- Collaborate with development teams to support deployment pipelines.

- Manage database operations (Aurora, RDS, MySQL) and backups.

- Implement and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

- Conduct regular security assessments and ensure compliance.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of experience managing AWS-based environments.

- Expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Docker, CI/CD tools, Python/Bash scripting.

- Knowledge of networking, monitoring tools (Datadog, Sumo Logic).

- Strong understanding of DevOps culture and automation principles.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Redis, Memcached, or CouchDB.

- Exposure to Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).

- Familiarity with PHP-based systems and cloud cost optimization
