We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead to design and scale enterprise-grade, on-premise cloud-native infrastructure using open-source technologies. This role combines technical architecture, team leadership, and DevOps strategy to ensure high availability, security, automation, and operational excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities :

Leadership & Strategy :

- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.

- Define DevOps roadmap, standards, and best practices.

- Establish SLI/SLO/SLA frameworks and reliability targets.

- Drive automation, scalability, and cost optimization.

- Manage stakeholder communication and technical strategy.

Technical Ownership :

- Design and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters (bare metal/on-premise).

- Implement enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Tekton.

- Build comprehensive observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, EFK/Loki, Jaeger).

- Establish security frameworks (RBAC, secrets management, vulnerability scanning).

- Implement IaC standards using Terraform and Ansible.

- Design disaster recovery and backup strategies (Velero).

- Architect service mesh and advanced networking (Istio, Cilium, MetalLB).

- Manage storage solutions (Rook-Ceph, OpenEBS, Longhorn).

Operations & Governance :

- Define incident management and on-call processes.

- Conduct post-mortems and root cause analysis.

- Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2).

- Drive performance optimization and capacity planning.

- Establish DevOps metrics and KPIs.

Required Skills & Experience :

Leadership (Must Have) :

- 8-10 years DevOps/Infrastructure experience.

- 3-5 years team leadership experience.

- Proven track record of building and scaling teams.

- Strong stakeholder management skills.

Additional Qualifications :

- Certifications : CKA, CKAD, CKS (highly preferred), RHCE, HashiCorp Terraform.

- Chaos engineering (Chaos Mesh, Litmus).

- eBPF and advanced networking.

- Kubernetes operator development.

- OpenStack or VMware experience.

- Open-source contributions.

- Public speaking or technical writing.
