DevOps/Infrastructure Security Lead

Job Title : DevOps & Infra Security Lead

About the Role :

Key Responsibilities :

- Security & Compliance by Design : Enforce security across infra, CI/CD, and runtime environments. Align architecture with SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and zero-trust principles.

- IaC & Platform Automation : Build robust Terraform or Pulumi stacks and integrate Humanitec/Backstage for internal developer platforms and delivery abstraction.

- Observability & Incident Response : Implement end-to-end monitoring using BetterStack, Grafana, PostHog, and custom telemetry. Create incident response playbooks, on-call rotations, and run chaos engineering exercises.

- Secrets & Policy Management : Secure secrets and API credentials using Infisical, rotate them automatically, and lead the charge on threat modeling and cyber hygiene.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6 to 10+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infra Security roles.

- Linux internals, Kubernetes/Fly.io, Terraform

- Secure networking, NATS, RabbitMQ

- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices from vulnerability scanning to system hardening.

Experience with :

- CI/CD management

- Stateful, memory-bound workloads in production

- Bonus : CKA/CKS certification

Nice to Have :

- Familiarity with LLMs and AI workload deployment

- Built internal developer platforms (IDPs) using Humanitec or Backstage

- Led SOC 2, ISO 27001, or other compliance audits

- Contributed to open-source infrastructure/security tools
