What you'll be doing :

In this role, your primary focus will be to provide guidance and resolution of engineering needs related to cloud architecture and infrastructure, CI/CD tooling, and application management and observability.

As a member of the Developer Platform Team, you will be focused on solving challenging problems around development environment frameworks, scalability and stability so that all engineers at company are enabled to deliver products at high velocity and scale without compromising quality, and coding standards. The team is chartered to understand software development pain points, provide solutions for those, set guidelines for code organization and development, and ensure that development environments in general are kept performant and stable as we continue to add more features and functionalities to our product portfolio.

The candidate will work with the cutting edge technology leveraging Containers, Kubernetes, argoCD,Jenkins, IaC(Terraform\Pulumi\Helm\CloudFormation), Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, Elastic Search, GitHub, MySQL, SageMaker, Service Mesh, Prometheus, Loki and build platform tools using Python, Go and other scripting languages.

The position also offers to achieve & maintain the uptime, performance and scalability of very low latency and high volume critical transactional apps hosted on microservice platforms.

What will make you a great candidate :

- 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience

- Experience with Kernel, Networking and OS fundamentals

- Must have DevOps Scripting Experience with Python, Go, Shell Experience in troubleshooting, managing and deploying containerised environments using Docker/containerd, Kubernetes is a must.

- Experience with Public and Private cloud solutions (Any of AWS, GCP, Azure, Openshift, DIY clouds etc)

- Experience with distributed systems and micro-service based architectures.

- Must be proficient with the helm, Terraform and relevant IaCs.

- Experience building the CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Spinnaker, Argo etc. -

- Practical experience with K8s, envoy, API gateway, Service Mesh (Istio or consul mesh or linkerd/conduit)

- Experience in observability practices and toolchains (Monitoring, Metrics, Logging, Alerts & Tracing) Well-versed with Cloud security / DevSecOps Practices Most importantly, Learners for life and An Effective Engineer.
