About the Role :

We are looking for a motivated and technically strong DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in software development, automation, CI/CD, containerization, release engineering, and modern DevOps practices, with a strong focus on building scalable and reliable engineering solutions.

This role requires someone who can work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to improve software delivery, automate processes, enhance platform reliability, and support secure and scalable engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities :

CI/CD & Release Engineering :

- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.

- Support software build, packaging, release, and deployment processes.

- Implement and maintain release management and versioning processes.

- Create and maintain reusable Jenkins shared libraries and automation frameworks.

- Improve build performance, deployment reliability, and engineering productivity.

Automation & Development :

- Develop automation solutions using Python and PowerShell.

- Create tooling to automate build, deployment, monitoring, and operational workflows.

- Integrate various engineering systems through APIs and automation scripts.

- Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of build and deployment failures.

Containerization & Platform Engineering :

- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker.

- Support Kubernetes-based deployments and platform operations.

- Assist teams in adopting containerization best practices.

DevOps Toolchain Management :

- Manage and maintain Git repositories, branching strategies, and development workflows.

- Support artifact management using Artifactory.

- Configure and maintain DevOps integrations across multiple tools and platforms.

- Collaborate with development teams to improve DevOps maturity and automation adoption.

Security & Compliance :

- Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines.

- Support software composition analysis and vulnerability management using tools such as Black Duck.

- Assist in implementing DevSecOps best practices.

- Work on compliance-related initiatives including secure software development practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong programming and scripting experience in :

i. Python

ii. PowerShell

- Strong experience with :

i. Jenkins

ii. Groovy

iii. CI/CD pipeline development

iv. Docker

v. Kubernetes

vi. Git

vii. Artifactory

viii. Release Management

- Experience with security and compliance tools such as :

i. Black Duck

ii. Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools

iii. Vulnerability scanning tools

- Experience managing build and release processes.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have :

- Experience creating and maintaining custom Windows images and Golden Images.

- Familiarity with :

i. MDT

ii. SCCM

iii. DISM

iv. Sysprep

v. WinPE

- Experience automating Windows image creation and deployment workflows.

- Exposure to Linux image creation and customization.
