Job Overview:

TechStar Software Development India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud-native platforms, and AWS technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and observability platforms such as Datadog and Splunk. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, build, maintain, and support highly available cloud-native platforms and infrastructure.

- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and efficient software delivery.

- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Administer and optimize Amazon EKS environments and associated AWS services.

- Support AWS serverless applications, web services, and API integrations.

- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using Datadog and Splunk.

- Monitor system health, availability, capacity, and performance, and proactively identify potential issues.

- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning across cloud environments.

- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.

- Implement best practices for cloud security, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

- Collaborate closely with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to streamline application delivery and operations.

- Continuously identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve platform reliability.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise:

- AWS Services: Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures.

- Terraform: Strong experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code.

- Docker: Hands-on experience with containerization and container lifecycle management.

- Kubernetes: Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, deployments, services, networking, and troubleshooting.

- Amazon EKS: Practical experience managing and supporting Kubernetes workloads on EKS.

- Datadog: Experience with infrastructure/application monitoring, dashboards, metrics, and alerting.

- Splunk: Experience with centralized logging, log analysis, and troubleshooting.

- Strong understanding of cloud-native and distributed systems.

- Experience supporting AWS serverless environments and API-based services.

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.

- Hands-on experience with GitLab / GitLab CI/CD.

- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and best practices.

- Experience with automation and scripting.

- Familiarity with cloud security, networking, and cost optimization practices.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with 6+ years preferred.

- Proven experience working with AWS and cloud-native environments.

- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting production-grade infrastructure and applications.

- Strong experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure, deployment, and application issues.
