DevOps Engineer - Cloud Platform

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, IT operations, and other departments to streamline the software development life cycle (SDLC).

- Automation: Leverage AI-driven tools and automation in daily DevOps operations to optimize deployments, monitor system health, and proactively resolve infrastructure issues.

- CI/CD: Build, manage, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Infrastructure Management: Manage and provision infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.

- Monitoring & Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of applications.

- Cloud Management: Manage cloud environments (AWS, OCI, GCP, ) and automate cloud infrastructure provisioning.

- Security: Ensure security best practices are followed in the deployment pipeline and in the infrastructure.

- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.

- Incident Management: Respond to and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and prevent recurrence.

- Collaboration with Development: Foster a culture of collaboration between development, operations, and quality assurance teams.

Requirements :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience :

- Proven experience in a DevOps role or similar position (6-8 years).

- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, GCP).

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).

- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

- Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.

- Knowledge of Version Control Systems : Experience with Git or other version control systems.

- Operating Systems : Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems.

- Problem-solving skills : Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and improve the development and deployment pipeline.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
