DevOps Engineer

About the Role :
We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to manage, scale, and optimize our cloud infrastructure and deployment ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS infrastructure, CI/CD automation, infrastructure upgrades, and multi-environment deployment management for live SaaS products.
You will play a critical role in ensuring platform reliability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency while driving infrastructure modernization initiatives with minimal service disruption.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own and manage AWS infrastructure, including planning, executing, and validating upgrades across interdependent services.
- Design, maintain, and optimize webhook infrastructure to ensure high reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Lead dependency upgrade initiatives, including coordinated Python version upgrades and related service-chain updates with zero unplanned downtime.
- Drive infrastructure security and vulnerability remediation aligned with upgrade and compliance milestones.
- Maintain environment parity across staging, production, and testing environments while leading the provisioning of additional environments within defined budget constraints.
- Monitor and manage infrastructure costs proactively, identifying optimization opportunities and flagging potential overruns.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent tooling.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and security teams to support deployment, scalability, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Create clear technical documentation and leverage AI-powered tools for infrastructure planning, automation, and workflow optimization.
Required Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, VPC, networking, and cost management.
- Experience designing and managing scalable webhook systems and event-driven architectures.
- Proven experience executing infrastructure and dependency upgrades on live SaaS platforms without service disruption.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent).
- Experience managing multi-environment deployment strategies across staging, production, and testing environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization skills.
- Familiarity with security best practices, vulnerability remediation, and cloud infrastructure governance.
- Demonstrated usage of AI tools to improve infrastructure planning, documentation, and operational workflows.
Required Qualifications :
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience supporting and managing live SaaS products in production environments.
- Strong experience working with AWS-based multi-environment architectures.
- Ability to communicate infrastructure decisions effectively with engineering and product stakeholders.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-ownership environments with strong operational accountability.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
- Exposure to cost optimization strategies for cloud-native infrastructure.
