About the job:

Looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS Infrastructure expertise to provision, automate, operate, and continuously improve our cloud platforms across multiple environments.

The role emphasizes CI/CD (GitHub Actions + ArgoCD), Kubernetes/EKS, platform engineering, automation, observability, and cloud infrastructure management while partnering with SRE and Application teams to design scalable architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

DevOps Collaboration :

- Partner with DevOps to build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Argo) with policy gates.

- Ops for EKS, EC2/SGs, MongoDB Atlas, S3, IAM, ALB/NLB, Route 53, CloudFront, ECR etc.

- Implement autoscaling, resilience, backups, patching, and DR patterns (RTO/RPO targets).

- Maintain artifacts in Nexus artifactory and images in ECR.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement least-privilege IAM, key rotation, secret management (AWS Secrets Manager, IRSA etc).

- Harden networks, containers, and images; remediate findings from SonarQube, CodeQL and WIZ.

- Ensure encryption, logging, traceability, and change control.

Networking and Monitoring :

- Manage service mesh networking with Istio for traffic management, ingress/egress control, service-to-service communication, certificates management and security within EKS environments.

- Implement and maintain observability and monitoring using Dynatrace and Cloudwatch, including infrastructure, application, Kubernetes, and distributed tracing dashboards, logs and alerts.

Must-Have Qualifications :

- 5+ years in cloud infrastructure; 3+ years hands-on with AWS at scale.

- Proficient in networking (VPC design, routing, endpoints, private link, Route53, Security Groups).

- Solid containers & orchestration knowledge: EKS, Helm, Karpenter/Cluster Autoscaler.

- CI/CD design and implementation (GitHub Actions/ArgoCD, artifacts, approvals).

- Security-first mindset : IAM design, secrets, KMS, AWS Organizations/SCPs, Guardrails.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Development, Architecture, Security, SRE, and Business teams, drive technical discussions, and provide clear status updates and documentation
