Job Description : DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location : Pune

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 5 years of professional experience and strong expertise in AWS DevOps services and related technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation frameworks to ensure seamless software delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

- Monitor system performance, availability, and security using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and performance.

- Ensure compliance with best practices for cloud security, networking, and cost optimization.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.

- Drive adoption of DevOps culture, tools, and practices across teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or related roles.

- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, VPC).

- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline).

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Solid knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell.

- Understanding of networking, security, and cloud cost management.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect certification.

- Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).

- Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
