Senior DevOps Engineer

Experience : 6+ years

About the Role :

Skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and automate our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS/Azure, Linux systems, scripting, monitoring, and security, with strong experience driving DevOps best practices across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Cloud Infrastructure Management : Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud environments on AWS/Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).

- Automation & CI/CD : Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and cloud-native tools.

- Linux Systems Administration : Maintain and optimize Linux servers, file systems (CIFS/NFS), and system services to ensure reliability and performance.

- Scripting & Tooling : Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash for deployment, configuration, and infrastructure management.

- Monitoring & Logging : Implement and manage monitoring/alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and related tools.

- Security & Compliance : Configure and maintain IAM, VPN, firewalls, and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and deployments.

- Directory Integration : Integrate and manage directory services such as Active Directory, LDAP, Google AD, and automate processes using PowerShell.

- Collaboration & Best Practices : Partner with development, QA, and architecture teams to drive DevOps culture, increase automation, and improve release reliability.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of hands-on DevOps or Systems Engineering experience.

- Strong cloud experience with AWS or Azure.

- Solid Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Expertise with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD workflows.

- Advanced Linux administration skills; CIFS/NFS file systems.

- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.

- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.

- Strong understanding of IAM, VPN, firewalls, and cloud security.

- Experience integrating Active Directory, LDAP, or Google AD.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Docker, Kubernetes.

- GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).

- Configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

- Experience with production support in 24x7 environments.
