Role Overview :

As a DevOps Architect, you will serve as the technical visionary responsible for designing, building, and scaling robust infrastructure platforms that power high-traffic applications. You will operate at the intersection of development and operations, collaborating closely with engineering leads, product managers, and security teams to streamline the software delivery lifecycle. By championing automation and cloud-native best practices, you will directly influence the reliability, security, and performance of our digital products, ensuring that our business can innovate rapidly while maintaining a seamless experience for our end users across our Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata hubs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency for business-critical applications.

- Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to accelerate deployment cycles and reduce time-to-market for development teams.

- Orchestrate containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker to support microservices architecture and ensure consistent application delivery across environments.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management through Terraform and Ansible to eliminate manual errors and enforce environment consistency.

- Establish comprehensive monitoring and logging strategies to proactively identify system bottlenecks and maintain high service availability for customers.

- Lead the migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures, providing technical guidance to cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions and minimal downtime.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing complex cloud-native architectures and managing large-scale infrastructure as code, with a deep understanding of AWS services and networking.

- Proven ability to script and automate operational tasks using Python and Shell scripting to enhance system efficiency and reduce operational overhead.

- Strong proficiency in managing Linux-based environments and deep knowledge of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable strategies for stakeholders and mentor junior engineers.

- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and a proactive mindset, with the flexibility to thrive in a hybrid work environment across our primary office locations.

- A solid academic foundation in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by a track record of delivering high-impact DevOps solutions in fast-paced organizations.

- Ability to manage version control workflows effectively using Git, ensuring code integrity and seamless collaboration across distributed engineering teams.
